Aspen, Colorado has had a great history of world-class ski shops on account of the fact Elli Iselin opened Ellis of Aspen in 1954 bringing European fashion including Bogner and Lanz to an American ski culture that had never seen such beautiful ski apparel. Thanks to Elli Aspen soon became the epicenter of ski fashion within the United States, a tradition that continues today. Elli had a passion for skiing and extremely aspect of its lifedesign including, fashion, aprs ski and travel, this was embodied in her shop and set the bar for all shops following.
